Central's Got Talent

About three weeks ago I got a notice about CENTRAL'S GOT TALENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I decided I would try out to see if I got through. Down the bottom it said the top ten people chosen will peform on Gala day (our school gala was coming soon).
I went along to the audititon to try my luck. Sure enough I was sooo excited.
A week later Mum got a text saying 'Well done Hannah you got through'. I was soooo excited that I would be peforming on gala day.
On the Friday before the Gala we had a rehearsal to the junior syndicate. I reckon it went well and the juniors looked like they enjoyed it.
On Saturday we had a practice on the stage which was actually the back of a truck. I got there just in time for the practice. The first act was my sisters best friend and some of her other friends who do ballet with her. So they did a dance. I was on forth on stage. While I was waiting I watched everyones act until it was my turn. Dad picked me up after everyone had had their turn.
'Beep, beep, beep.'  There goes my alarm - time for me to get up ready to go to help set up at SEVEN AM on a weekend!!!!!!!!!!  I got there and I ran across the front field to say hi to the few people who were there at seven. Anyway as I was running across people were yelling at me and pointing to our car. I didn't know what they were saying but then I looked up and saw a helicopter was about to land right in front of me.  I ran as fast as I could back to my car screaming. Then after that I ran to the people looking up in the air to make sure there wasn't anything else coming. I did my meets and greets (he he he) and got on to helping mum and Dad set up the toy stall.
I looked at Mum's watch to find it was nearly time to do the opening songs with the choir.
Straight after the opening songs I had to go and get ready for my peformance. We had to wait for ages until we started!!!!!! It was so annoying. When I saw the judges sit down I knew we were going to start. So we got started with the dancers first, then Jonny on piano. After was little Maddison who sang 'Somewhere over the rainbow'. Then me!!!!!!!!!!!
I walked on stage and my friends were screaming and clapping - well everyone else was clapping. I sang 'Wouldn't it be Lovely' from the movie 'My Fair Lady'.  I got a big cheer when I went off stage.
We went through all the others.  At the end the judges talked about it and then we all heard the results.
In fourth place came Maddison!!!!!!! In third place came Isi - she did a really fast hip-hop dance. It was awesome. In second place came Gracie - she played her violin and did an Irish dance. In first place came -  Hannah!!!!!!!!!   I walked up on stage to collect my prize.  I had a huge smile on my face. Then the audience had voted who they had enjoyed watching the most. The prize went to Bailey -  he did a dance to 'Greased Lightning'. He was funny!! Since I came first I did my act again, and  also Bailey did his act again. I felt sooo awesome and proud (my gran was there and she was really proud).

AT THE START
I felt so nervous because everyone was cheering and watching us. I needed to go toilet.
IN THE BACK FIELD
When I got to the back field I was so hot and puffed I couldn't wait to get in the swimming pool.
IN THE POOL
I did a dive which actually turned out to be a belly flop. The pool was so refreshing since I was so hot and tired.
AT THE BIKE TRANSITION

As I reached the bike transition I raced over to my bike and tried to get it out of the bike stands. It was so frustrating because Dave (my teacher) had squeezed my wheel into the bike stands really hard. I finally got it out, hopped on and moved my legs as fast as they would go.
AT THE FINISH LINE
Man, I was out of breath! I dropped my bike and sat on the ground. I felt proud.
